Thomas Edison "Tommy" Coleman's Obituary
Thomas Edison “Tommy” Coleman, 84, of Coleman, went to be with the Lord Saturday November 16, 2013 under the care of his loving family and the staff of Lane Purcell Hospice. Mr. Coleman was born February 11, 1929 in Coleman to Henry and Ruth (Avery) Coleman. He was of the Baptist faith and was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed working as a mechanic for CSX until his retirement, and then continued to stay busy with projects. Survivors include his loving wife of almost 57 years, Janette; sons, Brian (Debbie) Coleman of Wildwood and Lynn (Joyce) Coleman of Acworth, GA; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Coleman will be 3:00pm, Monday, November 18, 2013 in the Adamsville Cemetery.
