My Mother married Tommy's brother Jamesy when I was just 6 yrs old. The family never treated me like a stepchild. When Uncle Tommy came home from Korea he gave me a little round metal music box that plays Fleur De Lei. He probably bought it for his Mother but knowing her, she probably told him that I had just lost my Daddy. So the little music box got wrapped up and given to me for Christmas. It was majical and I loved it so. I got it out today and played it in memory of my Uncle Tommy. Grownups never really realize little acts of kindness affects children and sticks in their memories.

I remember when Uncle Tommy went to the Korean War. I was only 6 yrs old. He was a very hard worker later on the Railroad and very kind to his family. He will be missed. My Love and Condolences to the Family. Barbara Wooten Hudson
