I'm Brenda your sister Audrey's daughter. I do faintly remember you from when I was 10 and younger. I am just now at 50 learning my heritage. My mother passed away in 1984 and since then we, my sister and i, were transported into a life where the past wasn't mentioned. Dear Chapman Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Shirley really took such great care of our Dad, and loved us kids so wonderfully. We Harbour girls enjoyed our visits with her at their home or at family gatherings. Dad didn't talk much, but Shirley was always so kind, friendly, and made us feel special. She will be missed, but we are so glad that she is free from pain and can do all the things she loves to do. She loved her flowers. I'll never forget about the snake that fell from the tree onto the ground as she was gardening...yet...she carried on! And how she loved her Christmas displays...they were exquisite...and...she was exquisite. Beautiful.
Aunt Shirley was a special lady. Always had time for others. Always made it a point to stop in and visit my father when she was in Lockport.
I love you Shirley you will always be in my heart I remember the first time I met her she was a wonderful person you made me open my eyes and realize that life has to go on.
