Richard A Meek's Obituary
Richard A. Meek, 98, Lecanto, FL and formerly of Leesburg, FL. passed away on June 26, 2015 in Lecanto, Florida. Mr. Meek was born on March 6, 1917 in Binghamton, New York to his parents Harold P. and Mildred Aldrich Meek. Mr. Meek had been a General Manager in the Manufacturing Industry. He and his late wife Virginia moved to Central Florida in 1981 from Brewster, NY. He was of the Christian faith and a Past Worshipful Master of the Croton Lodge #368 F&A.M. in Carmel, NY; and a member of York Rite and a Shriner all in New York. He is survived by his loving daughters: Anne Pearson of Brewster, NY, Carolyn Hackert of Carmel, NY and Judith Schutz of Wildwood, FL; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his late wives Virginia and Catherine and two daughters Julia Meek and Miriam Sterry. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will held 1 :00 PM, Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Croton Lodge # 368 F& AM 11 Church Street, Carmel, NY.
