There is comfort in knowing he's well right now. Living away and getting older, it's harder to stay in touch, yet they were always with me. He and Aunt Louise have a very special place in my heart, lots of memories, and things i'll have with me forever. I can only hope someone in my children's lives touch them as dearly as they touched me. Things have changed so much in the surrounding area, but the Oxford I knew will not be the same. Dear Uncle Wendell, Thank you for letting us pick all of your citrus off of your trees, for driving me through Ocala National Forest looking for Bambi and his mother, letting us bang on the piano in the dinning room, driving us out to watch the crop dusters, for marrying our Aunt Louise, for Ralph, Mimi and Nancy and so much more.
