My Granny was the most awesome granny in the world!!!! My fondest memories as a child were her bobby pin curling my hair and praying with me at night. As an adult it would be her always asking if I was having another child yet even after I had six, and asking if we were hungry. I am so happy to know that one day I will see her again in heaven and I know the first thing she will ask....Are you hungry? Lol!!!
My thoughts and memories of Mom are of a kind, caring and loving Mother (even when washing my mouth out with soap!) with a wry sense of humor who thought a good meal could solve most anything.
From childhood thru adulthood she was there with encouragement, and if I stumbled in life she offered love and support. No matter the circumstance I could always go home and Mom would greet me with a smile and a question, "are you hungry, son?".
Lucie and I love you and will always miss you. Go be with Dad, he's been waiting.
I got to meet my Aunt Patty when I was a little girl. It's a memory I hold close. She was so very sweet and kind. My favorite story is about a time my mom and daddy (Don) went down for a visit and mom was sitting under a tree full of spiders...
I never had the opportunity to meet my aunt Patsy. My grandmother often said I looked like her as a child. I spoke with her on the phone on many occations and I found her to be a warm, kind woman. I am sure she will be greatly missed
