To the children of Nora Mayworth: Jack, Bobby and Mary Jane. My sister, Pauline Ellis, and I were so sorry to learn of Nora Mayworth's passing. Nora was a loving, bright, laughing lady who always seemed glad to see us though we seldom were able to meet these last years. She was also the last link for us with the generation of our older sisters, Fances Hill and Erin Mayworth, and with our dear brother-in-law, Robert Mayworth. We were sorry we were unable to attend her service. Pauline can no longer travel and I had to play the organ for a funeral at my church in Zephyrhills. But our prayers were with her and you that she is joyfully now with her dear husband,Jack, and with our good Lord, as we all hope to be someday. May God bless her and comfort all of you in your loss. I lived next door to the Mayworth family as a young girl and played cowboys and indians with Jackie and Bobby and Mrs. Mayworth was always so sweet to me when we would come in the house for a snack. Our mothers sheets did take a hit when we decided to have a war with the berries on the bushes and hid behind the sheets on laundry day and the Mrs. Mayworth and my Mom let us have it good. She was a fine lady.

Mrs. Mayworth's smile was a fixture, her joy contagious and her energy boundless. I am so blessed to have known this warm and wonderful lady. My sincerest sympathy to Mary Jane, Jack and Bob.

I had the great fortune of spending many a happy summer and just hanging out with the Mayworth family at their home in Forest Hills, Tampa. Mrs. Mayworth was always very kind to me and to our family over the years.
