I met Monica through her brother, Anthony, when I visited Montego Bay with a dear friend. Our meeting was brief but I remember her being warm, gracious and welcoming. Though years late, I extend my deepest condolences to her family for their loss and pray that God continues to bless and comfort them.

Monica taught me to make Shepard's Pie - I still make it and think of our commuting together to L'Enfant Plaza in DC over 30 years ago. She was one of the nicest person's I ever knew and we still kept in touch. I will miss her great letters.
