You took me to my first fire call and into my first house fire you taught me minimum standards and you encourage me to always go to school. I did exactly what you told me and I've had a successful fire service career. Rest in peace, my brother I have the watch. Bill Sturgeon
Thank you, Captain Hill. You taught me a lot about the fire service when I was a young volunteer firefighter you took me into my first house fire and also where my training instructor for minimum standards. One of the most important things you told me is to go to school and get an education and I did. I will miss you our time on Mount Plymouth engine one and on rescue one rest in peace, sir, I have the watch!
I will miss the back porch meetings with Mayor Hill planting the seeds for a better City of Coleman and catching a wave from him as I honked my horn when he was sitting on the front porch. We knew each other as brother Masons as well as the starting point when he was the Emergency Management Director upon my arrival to Sumter County in 2006. In all of my work with him, his word was his bond. There is no doubt that he was called to be at God's side.
I'm glad that we were able to meet for lunch Sunday. Never dreamed it would be our last. I will forever miss you. Rest in peace my dear friend.
I was saddened to hear of Mayor Hill’s passing. I knew him for only a short time but liked him. My the lord welcome him. PJM
I only got to know him for a few weeks , but I liked his spirt of concern for Coleman and shared his enthusiasm for the future possibilities.

I’m so sorry to hear of Milton’s passing. He was a wonderful brother master mason and I enjoyed spending time with him in the lodge. Milton loved the community of Coleman and was dedicated to making improvements as its mayor. I will miss him. Alas my brother!
Milton and I were together for several years. We were a family. I am very close with his daughter, Amanda, Son-in-law, Luis, grandsons, Collin and Cayden, host of his extended family and friends and those whom he worked with and helped. Including his brothers in Wildwood Masonic Lodge.
We went to so many places together!
One place her LOVED to go was a place he called “Long road to nowhere” Pecks Seafood Restaurant! And of course O’Steens in St.Augustine! It was easy to say he was a “Foodie”😊
After we parted ways, we were still very close and communicated every morning and evening until he passed away.
I will miss him daily 😢
