Joseph J. DeLucia, 69, The Villages, Florida went home to the Lord on Thursday, May 17, 2012 in The Villages, Florida. Mr. DeLucia was born on April 27, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York to his parents Alfonso and Jennie DeLucia. He was a retired High School Principal from Deer Park, L.I., New York, who had also worked at Brewster Middle School and Pawling Junior and Senior High School all in New York, after retirement he worked as a substitute teacher in North Salem, NY. He and his wife moved from Patterson, NY to The Villages six years ago and are members of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wildwood, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Theresa DeLucia of The Villages, FL.; a son: Brian (Emily) DeLucia of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.; a daughter: Kim (Robin) Dreeke of Fredericksburg, VA.; a sister: Benedetta Deubel of Sag Harbor, N.Y.; 4 grandchildren: Katelyn, Kevin, Gavin and Kyle. A Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, May 28, 2012, at 10:00 AM. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood, Florida.
