Dear Hammons Family,My name is Chancey. I am a participant in an international volunteer work. I am sorry for your loss. In my work I offer comfort from the Scriptures to families that have lost their loved ones in death. An example of what I share is in the Bible at Isaiah 25:8,9-He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. And the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken [it]. 9 And in that day one will certainly say: “Look! This is our God. We have hoped in him, and he will save us. This is Jehovah. We have hoped in him. Let us be joyful and rejoice in the salvation by him.â€Did you notice the what will happen to death? It will be swallowed up. Death will be no more! Another scripture is John 5:28-29, it reads: Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment." This is a promise that those dead will be ressurected to life on a paradise earth.(Psalm 37:29) Reading these scriptures have helped millions through the grieving process and beyond.
