It is unfortunate to have another important man in my life leave. Thanks to all for the condolences. Our family is strong and will at some point be okay with his loss in our lives. He is gone but will never be forgotten for anyone that he met
Thank You Harold for your generous and kind heart. It was your persistence that resulted in the creation of a new 40 & 8 Voiture that opened the door for many new veterans to participate in this wonderful organization. We extend our sincere prayers and condolence to Harold's family.
You may have cussed a little, and acted gruffly at times but deep inside (we knew) was a very kind, fair, and generous man. The Voyageurs of V-1604 will be eternally grateful to you for getting us started and we will do our best to honor you by our actions.

I enjoyed many great stories from how he met his wife to all the groups they supported and helped. He has left a legacy of such a beautiful family.
I had the honor to shake his strong hand, have a brave conversation with him and more importantly I got to keep my promise to be at his side until the end. Thanks to my angels for the help in this campaign.
Now you can go fishing without any constraints and be free of all limitations.
To your love ones that are hurting for your departure rest in the promise that later we will meet again. And that is going to be the greatest party of all!!!! Love Mery and Mery
Had many good times with Harold at 40 & 8 functions. R.I.P my friend
Harold was a warm-hearted man who would do anything he could for anyone who needed him. His grouchy demeanor, warm heart and bear hugs will truly be missed.

Harold and I shared many times at 40 & 8 promenades and other events. He loved and devoted much of his life to the Great Child Welfare program of the 40 & 8. He was a good friend and will be missed.
