Ellis will be missed by so many of the DALSMA (Delta Airlines Station Managers Association). There were many Delta people he mentored during his years there. Ellis will live on in the memories of all of us who knew him and were privileged to have worked and socialized with him. The family is in our prayers. Ellis always had a very calming effect on everyone. He was always very calm and collected during difficult situations. Ellis mentored the newer employees and shared his vast knowledge with them. I always enjoyed working with him and also golfing. Linda and I have some very fond memories of going to Doral and Innisbrook with Ellis and Darlene. Ellis and I first met in San Francisco in 1972. I immediately liked him, and the more I got to know him, over the years, the more I liked him.
His family should be comforted by knowing that Ellis was loved by all who knew him.
He was a a real gentleman, and a quality individual.
