David Leslie King's Obituary
David Leslie King, 49, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022. He was born April 26, 1972 in St. Petersburg, FL to John Harry and Catherine S. "Holdridge" King.
David began his military career at the age of 17 yrs old with the National Guard. Then he worked for Pinellas Co. Sherriff's Dept. and at the age of 28 yrs old he became active duty with U.S. Army where he served his country with 3 tours in Afghanistan Campaign earning numerous medals, ribbons awarded, and the Bronze Star. He retired from the U.S. Army on August 21, 2012 at Fort Bragg, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was survived by his wife, Melissa Heather King; daughters: Katlin, Skylar, and Ava-Grace; brother, John King; sisters: Gloria Hoffman, Alicia (Bobby) Nix, Carloyn (Pete) Dennis, and Kimberly (Vince) Thacker, grandchild, Leo Martinez-King, mother-in-law, Sharon Pryor, and numerous other loving and friends.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
Cremation has taken place at Banks/Page-Thues Funeral Home 410 Webster St. Wildwood, FL 34785.
