Charles Huey Hogan's Obituary
Charles “Huey” Hogan, 63, of Coleman, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, March 29, 2020. Mr. Hogan was born September 27, 1956 in Ocilla, GA to Howard and Selma (McMillan) Hogan. He graduated from Clermont High School and had worked for many years as the butcher at the IGA in Clermont. Huey moved to Coleman in 2007 from Groveland and is a member of the First Baptist Church of Coleman. He loved the Lord and spread that love in many ways including sponsoring a girl from Belize, Mayra Aura, through Compassion International. Survivors include his children that he raised as a single parent, Curtis Hill (Leslie) of Leesburg, Nichole Meerleveld (Jonathan) of Clermont and Tami Ferrell (Billy) of Coleman; mother, Selma Hogan of Minneola; brothers, Bentley Hogan and Tim Hogan both of Summerset, KY; grandchildren, Gage, Brady, Megan, Andrew, Jasmyn and Zachary. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard and 3 siblings. Huey’s family will celebrate his life in the First Baptist Church of Coleman in the future.
