Charles Joseph Goodman's Obituary
Charles Joseph Goodman, 81, of Wildwood, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Mr. Goodman was born April, 1933 in Swinton, Manchester, England to the late Charles John and Ellen (Milne) Goodman. He served in the Royal Signals Corps in the English Army from 1958 to 1970 when he moved to the U.S. to work for GE. He was a retired machinist, toolmaker and engineer. He moved to Florida after retiring from GE about 15 years ago from Pittsburgh, PA. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his family and friends. Survivors include his daughter, Lynn (Rich) Smith of Bradenton; sons, Mark (Tana) Goodman of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Peter (Lynn) Wong of Manchester, England and David (Samantha) Wong of Manchester, England; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan and daughter, Carol Wong. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
