Mr. Goodman was a nice man. I was a cashier at a local grocery store and always enjoyed him coming in. I'm glad to have had the privilege of meeting him and his wife. He gets to see her again!

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Community Center of Parkwood Oaks, Wildwood, Florida, at 3pm.
I first met Charles when I joined his golfing group about 6 years. Of course I made the same mistake as many before me by calling him Charley, he very quickly reminded me that his name was Charles and not Charley!
I further ingratiated myself to him by congratulating him when his long putt looked as though it was going in the hole, when it stopped short he looked at me and said "why did YOU make it stop going in the hole!" Of course I had no reply to offer. I soon learned to keep my mouth shut (no easy task), when Charles was putting......at least until the ball was either in the hole, or it had stopped moving!
My mouth got me into more trouble with Charles when he was on the tee........he had remarkable hearing, he could hear you whisper 40 yards away! He would turn and give you that Charles admonishing look!!
I hadn't played with him recently, but I will miss him. john Sheehan
I always enjoyed seeing Charles while visiting my Dad (his neighbor). Charles would smile and share a greeting from his heart. Deepest condolences on your loss. Sincerely, Dave Squires and family
So sorry that you had to join the club Mark. Know that our fallen MP brothers and sisters, guarding Saint Peter's gate, have given him a VIP escort to his seat at God's table. You're in my thoughts, prayers, and eternal brotherhood. - TJ Grassia
He was my first cousin and along with his elder late brother John, we grew up together. His parents used to take me on holiday with them to Prestatyn where they once covered me in sand! Later, when my uncle was President of the Chamber of Trade they took me to Dinner Dances and soirees where I was Joe's (Charles) dance partner.Joe was a lovely dancer and although he went to live in America my husband and I visited him and his wife Joan, they could not do enough for us..
