Cecil C Cochran, Jr.,'s Obituary
Cecil C. Cochran, Jr., 87, of Wildwood, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010. Mr. Cochran was born in West Palm Beach and moved to Wildwood in 1927. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII and retired as a Conductor for Seaboard Coastline Railroad. He was a member of the Wildwood United Methodist Church, American Legion, N.A.R.V.E., Wildwood Masonic Lodge #92, Wildwood Historical Society, and Greenwood Cemetery Board. Survivors include daughters; Sheilah (Bobby) Key, of Tulsa, OK, Teedlee (Don) Clark, of Wildwood; brother; Talmadge (Miriam) Cochran, of Ocala; loving and devoted friend, Mary Tanner, of Wildwood; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mr. Cochran was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Annette, his parents, Cecil and Ruth Cochran, son, Jimmy, granddaughter, Kalynn. The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Wildwood United Methodist Church with funeral services following at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow the service in Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Wildwood United Methodist Church, 300 Mason St., Wildwood, Fl. 34785 or Methodist Children’s Home 51 Main St. Enterprise, FL 32725.
