Bernice J. Phinney's Obituary
Bernice J. Phinney, 96, of Wildwood, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015. Mrs. Phinney was born August 22, 1919 in Lynchburg, TN to John Henry and Loda (Ivey) Hasty. She moved to Central Florida in 1963 from Bay City, MI. She was a member and supporter of the Leesburg Moose, Florida Sherriff Youth Ranches and the Michigan Children’s Aid. Survivors include her children, Douglas Friesorger of Bay City, MI, Leon (Janet) Friesorger of Pinconning, NC, Jacqulin (Amos Mantyla) Mimbs of New Bern, NC, Shirley (Al) Williams and Edith (Michael) Hurst both of Wildwood; sister, Agnes Hooper of Madison, TN; 7 grandchildren and11 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Phinney will be held Friday, September 25, 2015, 6 PM to 8 PM in the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 26 at 11:00 AM at Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with interment following in the Adamsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Sherriff Youth Ranches. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
