My favorite Uncle has passed away. Uncle Artie was the young fun uncle. I have memories going back so many years ago. We were only 16 years apart. Thought he was so cool when he would pick my sister Pat & I from school in his ' robin egg blue 55 chevy convertable' Uncle Artie was also my Godfather which made him even more special to me. XX Sadly, he is gone from us, Joyfully to Heaven with God!
Rest in Peace , Dear Uncle Your loving niece Dale
Dear Laureen and Family,
So sorry to hear of Art's passing.
During a visit to Mission Oaks to see my mother, Ruth, I learned that Art was a fellow Long islander; there was an immediate bond.
May the memories of happier times with Art
help you through this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Pat, Ellen, and Ruth Stafford
Laureen,
My sincere sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Laureen,
Just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you. I will miss seeing you and Art at Mission Oaks!

Dear Laureen,
I remember meeting Art at Cousin Tom's 60th Birthday Gala in NYC. What impressed me most about him was that he was a kind man and very easy to talk to. He clearly loved you and cared a great deal about your family. One of my favorite Gardner family photos includes you standing between Art and Uncle Bill. I'm sure Uncle Bill will proudly introduce Art to our family singing around Aunt Ruth's piano.
May God bless Art, and our loved ones, with heavenly peace,
Gary & Tatta
Dear Laureen, dear relatives of Art,
we are truly sorry to hear that Art is no longer among us. However we will always remember him a a very generous, warm and caring person. We spent some unforgettable days Christmas 2012 and New Year 2013 together. So many nice card games, laughes, golf court visits and simply good, valuable time together. We will never forget this!
Thinkin a lot of you dear Art sending you love.

My father, Art King, passed on January 1st.
He'll celebrate the new year in his heaven that I'm sure includes televised Yankee games, a golf course full of friendly foursomes, and a karaoke bar that serves a not-too-fancy beer.
The New York Daily News will be delivered direct to Art daily by his golden (golf-ball) retriever, Buddy...and there will be a picture of Laureen on his wall to make him smile.
My dad was a kind, easy going and uncomplicated man. Thank you, his many friends, for the good times you shared with Art that colored his years in Florida so brightly.
My brothers, my son and I are grateful, and offer condolences back to you.
Laura
