Yvette F. Craig's Obituary
Yvette F. Craig, 94, of Oxford passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017. Mrs. Craig was born February 15, 1923 in Noumea, New Caledonia to Solange (Besnard) and Augustin Hannequin. She came to the U.S. in 1945. After marrying her first husband, Boyd T. Barker, she worked for the City of Parma, OH. After moving to Florida she had worked for McDonald Douglas during the Gemini program at Cape Canaveral. She moved here in 1979 from Cocoa Beach. Yvette was a member of the VFW Auxillary Post 4534 in Rockledge and a Catholic. Survivors include her children, Robert B. Barker of Orlando, Diana & James Couillard of Oxford and Danny B. & Lynne Barker of Naples; 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10:00am, Monday, July 3, 2017 in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests, contributions be directed to SCARC, Inc, 213 McCollum Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
