William "Andy" Andrew Nichols' Obituary
William Andrew “Andy” Nichols, 79, of Oxford, FL went to meet the Lord on December 22, 2015, while surrounded by his loving family. Andy was born January 15, 1936 in Oxford to J.H. and Estelle Nichols. He was a member of the Blue Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Fancy Gap, Virginia. And was retired from the Citrus County School Board where he taught vocational education. Prior to teaching, he was self-employed. Andy was devoted to his wife and family. In his spare time he enjoyed reading, woodworking, computers and traveling with his wife on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ruth Madeline Bane Nichols; 6 sons, Robert, Richard, Randy, Perry, Kenny and Bruce; 2 daughters, Melanie Nichols and Victoria Wyka; 8 grandchildren, Krystal, Catlin and Roberta Nichols; Michael, Nicholas and Madeline Wyka; Austin and Shay Nichols; 2 great-grandchildren, Davin Nichols and Gabriel Wyka. He has 3 daughter-in –laws, Vickie, Maria and Kathy Nichols and a son-in-law, Michael Wyka; 2 sisters, Gwen Smith and Annette Coniglio; 2 brothers, Hulon and Allen Nichols. Visitation for Andy will be held 2:00 – 4:00pm, Saturday, December 26, 2015 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel, 410 Webster St, Wildwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Andy’s name may be made to the Nichols Cemetery Association, Inc., P.O. Box 458, Oxford, FL 34484.
