William J. Morrissey's Obituary
William Joseph Morrissey, 74 of Wildwood, FL passed away April 27, 2023. He was born February 18, 1949 in Bronx, NY to William and Miriam (nee Lindenmeyer) Morrissey.
He loved spending time with family, especially his 10 grandchildren, and meeting up with friends to live and enjoy life.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia "Patty" Ortiz and son, William Joseph Morrissey, Jr.
He is survived by daughter, Kimberly (Chuck) Champlin; son, Timothy Morrissey; 10 grandchildren; life partner of 18 years, Carolyn Hill; beloved Melanie and Gregory Hill, and an abundance of family and friends who loved him dearly.
There will be a Prayer Service at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home 410 Webster St. Wildwood, FL 34785. Deacon Dana McCarthy will be officiating. Immediately following the service Marion County Honor Guard will present military honors.
We invite all to celebrate his life at Bradenton Family Recreation Center, 1300 Pinellas Place, The Villages.
