William Mitchell Lightfoot's Obituary
William M. Lightfoot, 77, of Wildwood, Florida passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at his home. William was born on March 10, 1944 in Leesburg, Florida to Carl Lightfoot and Florence Lebean and lived in Sumter County all of his life. Sixty years ago, William married the love of his life Shirley Lightfoot in March of 1961.
William worked as a heavy equipment operator. William loved going Camping and enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He is survived by daughter, Debra and John Mayer; five grandchildren, Nick and Nicole Cadle, Morgan Petty, Andrea and Josh Carmona, Regina and Scott Biddle, Justin and Diane Cadle; Ten Great-grandchildren. William is preceded in death by his parents, brother, daughter Patricia Toler and by his beloved wife, Shirley Lightfoot.
