William Hurley's Obituary
William “Mackey” McKinley Hurley, Jr., 87, of The Villages, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010. Mr. Hurley was born in Glen Cove, N.Y. and moved to The Villages in 2004 from Port St. Lucie, FL. He was retired from the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier in Miami. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a member of Oxford Assembly of God. He enjoyed golfing, playing the clarinet and listening to Jazz and Big Band music. He is survived by two stepdaughters Gloria and Diane both of Marietta, GA., two nieces Dinny and Debby both of Stuart, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., with funeral services to follow at 3:00 P.M. at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers you may donate to Oxford Assembly of God , building fund. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
