Wilfred William Foster's Obituary
Wilfred William “Bill” Foster, 79, of Oxford passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Mr. Foster was born February 13, 1939 in Moweaqua, IL to Fred William and Ethel Rosetta (Markham) Foster. He had served in the Army Reserves. Bill was retired from Southern Bell and moved here in 2005 from Palm Beach County. Bill was a member of the Oxford United Methodist Church where he was one of the Trustees and sang in the choir. He was a skilled craftsman and woodworker demonstrating some of his work at church by building the front doors and the glider on the walkway leading into the church. Bill loved others and became a caregiver for many family members as well as friends. He loved yardwork and was ready to help anyone that would ask or needed him. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Judith; children, Rose Anne Otero of Port St Lucie, Katrina & David Berardi of Wildwood, Edward & Mary Jo Foster of Palm Beach Gardens and William Foster of Jupiter; sisters, Midge LaVeigne of Wildwood and Sylvia Straub of Crestwood, KY; grandchildren, Brandon, Cody, Sarah, Tucker, Dawson, Jason, Ariana and Mckenna. Bill joined his family in Heaven which included his parents; a brother, Ted Foster; grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Lanning and Charles Daniel “Danny” Lanning.
