Wiley Frank Tillis' Obituary
Wiley Frank Tillis, Jr, 61, Wildwood, FL went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2012 under the loving care of his family at his residence. Mr. Tillis was born on June 19, 1951 in Pahokee, Florida to his parents Wiley Frank Tillis, Sr and Betty Tillis of Pahokee, FL. Mr. Tillis was a Warehouse Manager for Okeelanta Sugar Corporation and was also the owner of “Just Me Pool Service” here in Wildwood. He was a lifelong resident of Florida and moved to Wildwood from Pahokee, Florida in 2003and had attended High School in Wildwood. He was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Elks Club in Pahokee. He was a member of Discovery Church of Wildwood, FL and loved being with his family while doing the things he loved such as riding air boats and swamp buggies, hunting, fly fishing and aviation. He is survived by his loving wife: Beth Fort-Tillis of Wildwood, FL; father and step mother: Wiley Frank Tillis, Sr (Betty) of Pahokee, FL; mother: Betty Larson of Orlando, FL; sons: Wiley Frank Tillis, III (Betty) of Okeechobee, FL, Christopher Jordan Tillis (Charlee Young) of Wildwood, FL, brothers: George Tillis of Clewiston, FL, Tom Tillis of Branson, MO, John Larson of Orlando, FL and Jeff Larson of Astatula, FL; grandchildren: Chad Nason and J. Nason; nieces and nephews: Tania Kessler, T.J. Strickland, Derek Fort, Kelsey Fort, Stephen Doggett, Aaron Tillis, Sam Tillis, Tucker Tillis, Tony Tillis and Crystal Tillis. Proceeded in death by a brother Danny Larson and a nephew Jason Tillis. Funeral Services to be held on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 2:00pm at Discovery Church of Wildwood, FL with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Wildwood, FL with Military Honors. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, FL. . Please leave a condolence for the family at www.BanksPageTheus.com.
