Wanda Sue Farmer's Obituary
Wanda Sue Farmer, 80, of Wildwood, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 8, 2020. Wanda was born on June 22, 1939 in Valdosta, Georgia to Bill G. and Thomy Lee (Clay) Dowda. Wanda married Jerry Farmer on March 2, 1962.
Wanda was a homemaker, loving wife and mother, and was the “Neighborhood Mother” known to the kids “Mama Sue”. She loved children and was nurturing to any child. Wanda was a member of the Sunset Park Discovery Church of God.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 58 years; Jerry, her daughters; Cynthia (Joseph) Bennett of Wildwood, Jennifer Lee Cummings of Pensacola, brothers; Bill (Shirley) Dowda, Jr., Danny (Linda) Dowda of Crawfordsville, TN, sister; Phyllis Tate of Atlanta, grandchildren; Bill Barrett, Jr. Amanda Nichole Burns, William Bennett, Moriah Bennett, Trentin Bennett, JoJo Bennett, and Leighann Walker, and especially her little dog Zolzey-Lace.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 12th from 6-8PM at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home with a graveside service on Friday March 13th at 11:00 at Greenwood Cemetery in Wildwood.
