Walter M. Richardson, Jr., 76, of Oxford passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Mr. Richardson was born December 28, 1939 in Leesburg to Walter and Ollie Richardson. He has lived here all of his life. Walter was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a Baptist. He was a retired railroad conductor working for both CSX and AMTRAK. Survivors include his children, Rickey (Deidra) Richardson of Oxford, Dickey (Diana Richardson) Richardson of Wildwood, Kevin (Kimberly) Richardson of Belleview and Tondra (Shane Dasher) Richardson of Oxford; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00pm with the service at 2:00pm, Friday, August 12, 2016 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Oak Grove Cemetery, Wildwood.
