Vivian Lorraine Smith's Obituary
Vivian Lorraine Smith, 73, Wildwood, FL went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2014 at her residence under the loving care of her family. Mrs. Smith was born on November 12, 1940 in Savannah, Georgia to her parents Joseph and Irma Lee. She was retired from the Sumter County School after 21 years of service as a Para-Professional Teachers Aid and also was a Professional Seamstress who had made bridal dresses and many band uniforms and cheerleaders outfits for the middle school. She was a member of the Oxford Assembly of God Church for many years and had served her Lord in various roles in helping as she was able. She was a terrific cook and carried her bible where ever she went. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years: Dean Smith of Wildwood, FL; a son: David (Sue) Smith of Fort Worth, TX; two daughters: Donia Smith and Pat Stewart both of Orlando, FL; a brother: James S. Lee of Seffner, FL; a sister: Carolyn Harrison of Bastrop, LA; two grandchildren: Glesni and Teleri Smith; Nieces and Nephews: Wayne Smith, Jr., William Sanford, III, John Smith, Elizabeth Tedder, Tina Chavez, Jeannie Brock, Gary Harrison, Donna Lee and Cathy Lee as well as her loving extended family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11:00AM at the Oxford Assembly of God Church in Oxford, FL with burial to follow at Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford, FL. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, FL. In lieu of flowers her family has requested donations be made in her loving memory to the Oxford Assembly of God Church at 12114 N. US Hwy 301 Oxford, FL 34484.
