Vivian M. Cordry's Obituary
Vivian M. Cordry, Sandersville, Georgia went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2016 at her winter residence in Wildwood, Florida under the loving care of her family and staff of Cornerstone Hospice. Mrs. Cordry was born on April 17, 1927 in Thomson, Georgia to her parents F.E. and Ethel (Chapman) May. She worked as a Maternity Nurse at Washington County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Sisters Baptist Church in Sandersville, Georgia. She was a seasonal resident of Wildwood, Florida since 1991 and was a lifelong resident of Sandersville, Georgia. She delivered her first two grandchildren and was extremely devoted to her family. She is survived by her loving children: Inez (Mark) Arnold of Wildwood, FL, Earvin (Carol) Cordry of Warthen, GA, Shari (Doug) Tanner of Wrightsville, GA and Brenda (Roger) Vickery of Sandersville, GA; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren and her loving companion Hubert Freeman of Wildwood, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer Cordry and a brother, Benion May. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11:00AM at Sisters Baptist Church Cemetery in Sandersville, GA. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to your local Hospice in loving memory of Vivian M. Cordry.
