Virginia C. Lowinski's Obituary
Virginia C. Lowinski, 91, of Wildwood passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 in Harrisburg, PA. Mrs. Lowinski was born November 25, 1925 in Chicago, IL to Walter and Cecelia (Jankowski) Wolanin. She moved to Continental Country Club in 1985 from Pittsford, NY. Virginia was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Leesburg and the Red Hat Society. She loved playing Mah Jongg to keep her mind sharp. She worked in the accounting department of the Daily Commercial until she was well over 80 years of age. She and her late husband, Robert, were married for over 70 years before his death in 2014. Survivors include her children, Catherine & Ralph Campbell of The Villages, Bobbi Lowinski of New Smyrna Beach and Michael & Theresa Lowinski of Harrisburg, PA, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Virginia was also preceded in death by her sister, Delores Daniels. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 8:30AM, Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Leesburg with interment in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to honor Virginia may be made to the charity of your choice. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
