Vernett "Deanie" Sallie's Obituary
Vernett “Deanie” Sallie, 89, of Sebring passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Mrs. Sallie was born August 1, 1928 in Evansville, IN to Wynn D. and Mattie Bell (Bowman) Schoepflin. She moved to South Florida from Evansville and worked for the Hialeah Police Department. Deanie retired as the County Clerk in Hialeah before moving to Sebring. She was a member of the Unity Church in Sebring and enjoyed writing poetry and her spiritual journey. Deanie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene and her children, She is survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
