Verlin R Maggard's Obituary
Verlin R. Maggard, 73, of Sebring, FL passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016. Mr. Maggard was born February 14, 1943 in Dayhoit, KY to Astor and Mossie (Tillon) Maggard. He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired Staff Sargent for U.S. Army. Verlin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Masons, Shrine and LIONS. He loved to create treasures from wood and reused many wood products to make toys for children along with other useful items. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Gracie of Corbin, KY; daughters, Katherine Maggard and Laura Morcus (Mark) both of Lexington, KY; sister, Lewanna Sexton (Doug) of Lexington, KY; brothers, Chester Maggard (Linda) of Lexington, KY, Frank Maggard and Jack Maggard both of Sebring, FL; 6 grandchildren.
