Venita H Beck's Obituary
Venita Hurst Beck, 82, of Oxford, Fl went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2014 surrounded by her loving daughters and family. Mrs. Beck was born on June 23, 1931 in Oxford, FL and has been a lifelong resident. She was a charter member of First Pentecostal Church of Belleview, FL.
She was a homemaker, an awesome seamstress and she enjoyed mystery novels. She was a crossword expert even completing the NY Times crosswords in ink. She will be remembered most by her friends and family, for her easy to get along nature, her sense of humor, her desire to have fun and the love of being around her family. She was many things to many people and she was affectionately called Nene by her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters; Vicki (Adrian) Dalton, Oxford, Melissa (Mike) Lewis, Wildwood, and Dori (Paul) Cowin, Live Oak all of Florida. Brother; Billie Joe Hurst, Hollister, CA., 6 grandchildren; Tad, Tony, Shawn, Emma, Kelsey and Andrew., 2 great grandchildren; Tristian, Jetta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon and son Timmy.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, FL with Funeral Service on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 1:00PM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, FL. burial to follow at Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford, FL.
