V. Constance Gagnon's Obituary
V. Constance "Connie" (Desaulniers) Gagnon, 80, was peacefully called to her heavenly home on September 7, 2015 after a seven year battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Born October 7, 1934 in Moosup, CT, Connie was the 10th child of Leo and Lucienne (LeBeau) Desaulniers. Her Catholic faith was of utmost importance to her throughout her life. Connie worked at Kaman Aerospace Corporation in Moosup for 34 years. She moved to The Villages, FL in 2006 and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She would take comfort in prayer, and even in her final days was often heard offering her love and devotion to her Lord.
Connie will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who loved hearts, raspberries, angels, shopping and always getting a great bargain, and her delicious home cooked meals.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on through her family she leaves behind. Her husband of 63 years; Norman Gagnon of The Villages, FL, son Richard Gagnon and wife Valerie of Staffordville, CT, daughter Cheryl (Gagnon) Breault and husband Michael of The Villages, FL. Her grandsons Ross and Travis Gagnon, and granddaughters Michelle (Breault) Mugnaini and Lauren Gagnon, and great grandson Theo Gagnon.
