Thomas William "Tom" Sincock's Obituary
Thomas William “Tom” Sincock age 65 passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 at his home in The Villages, Florida. Tom was born in Kearny, New Jersey and moved to The Villages in 2014 from Edgewood, Maryland. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. He went on to retire from the United States Army Reserves. Tom had a long career working as a firefighter for the Veterans Administration and he also served as a Union President for the office of Veteran’s Affairs finally retiring after 25 years of service. He was known by those closest to him for his upbeat, happy and always kind demeanor. He loved to laugh and enjoyed making others laugh. Tom also had a deep love of politics and could hold his own with anyone who was willing to debate him. He was also a loyal Baltimore Ravens fan and loved to travel to Atlantic City, New Jersey to play the slots. Most of all spending time with his loving wife of 25 years Nancy was at the top of the list for things that made him happy. Other survivors include a brother -
Edward Sincock of Redmond, Washington; Sisters – Carol Primavera of Middletown, Tennessee; Sally (Oliver) Clarke of Wesley Chapel, Florida; Katherine (Allen) Trent of Canton, Georgia; and Nancy Sincock of Port Charlotte, Florida.
The family suggests that memorial contributions in Tom’s memory be made to the Wounded Warrior’s Project – P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
