Thomas "Tom" Edward Dorick's Obituary
Thomas “Tom” Edward Dorick, 86, of The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Born on May 26, 1939, in Red Bank, New Jersey, he was the son of Louis M. and Elsie Dorick.
Tom proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard and later dedicated his time as a volunteer firefighter with the Fair Haven Fire Department in New Jersey.
A man of many talents, Tom enjoyed a fulfilling career as a radio broadcaster and actor. His passion for the arts led him to roles in television series, commercials, and Broadway productions, including a performance in the beloved 1947 Lerner and Loewe musical, Brigadoon.
After retiring in 1997, Tom relocated to The Villages, FL, where he embraced an active lifestyle filled with softball games and rounds of golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Lewis Dorick.
Tom is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kristen Keating, her husband Chris, and his cherished grandchildren: Olivia, Isabelle, and Cole Thomas. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Val’s Tavern, 123 E River Rd, Rumson, NJ 07760.
