Thomas Manson's Obituary
Thomas W. Manson, 85, of Wildwood passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Cornerstone Hospice of The Villages. Mr. Manson was born February 8, 1927 in Murphysboro, Illinois and moved to Wildwood in 1995. He was a graduate of the 1945 Murphysboro High School, Murphysboro, Illinois. Mr. Manson retired in 1987 from Illinois Central Gulf Railroad after 40 years as a Carmen. Tom and his wife attended Oxford Assembly of God Church, Oxford, Florida. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Betty (Kramer) Manson; 1 son, Dennis (Ann) Manson of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; 2 daughters, Peggy Chapman of Lucedale, Mississippi and Audrey Murphy of Wildwood, Florida; 7 grandchildren, Brittany Manson, Jason Murphy, Jeremy Chapman, Andrew Manson, Nathan Chapman, Rachael Curry, and Suzy Manson; 7 great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Tom will be held at Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford, Florida at 11 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2012. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Assembly of God Church, 12114 N. US Hwy 301, Oxford, FL 34484 or Cornerstone Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
