Thomas Jerry Courtney's Obituary
Thomas Jerry Courtney, 69, of Wildwood, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016. Mr. Courtney was born March 29, 1946 in Granite City, IL to James Courtney, Sr. and Cleona (Yates) Courtney. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the Wildwood Church of Christ. Tom moved here in 1979 from IL and was a retired diesel mechanic. He loved fishing and watching his movies. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Edra Nell; 6 children and spouses, George and Agnes Cawvey of Oxford, Claressa Meskill of Wildwood, Roger Cawvey of Springfield, VT, Bob and Chris Cawvey of Lafayette, IN, Sandie Duff of Lady Lake and Cheryl and Tyler Egner of Wildwood; 6 brothers, 2 sisters, 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10:00am, Monday, March 28, 2016 with a memorial service beginning at 10:30am at the Wildwood Church of Christ and interment services at Florida National Cemetery.
