Tommy and I met thru his cousin Gene and became instant friends. Monday morning coffee at the old Traveler's building ran for a long time. Later it was Wed. night at the Howard Johnson's in Va. Beach--Cocktails for the traveling salesmen. I was lucky to have been invited to The Villages after Tommy and Lynn retired. We played golf and I got to ride in the " fastest" golf cart in the Villages.My thoughts go out to the family. You were one of the good guys Tommy; GOD Bless, you will be missed. Ed Turnage
Tommy and I were in the same graduation class at Hermitage High School and also shared the same last name, which gave us a special bond. We all looked forward to seeing Tommy at our class reunions. He used to help get the reunions together until his move to Florida, but he usually always returned for our reunions at the Jefferson-Lakeside Country Club. We will miss you. Charlotte Bruce Pierce
Tommy and I met in the 1980's on the golf course and we continued our friendship and a few years ago were able to meet up for a golf game at his home in Florida. He was someone who was so much fun to be around. I will especially miss his great sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers to his family.
