Thomas Pilling Armstrong's Obituary
Thomas Pilling Armstrong, 86, of Lady Lake passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018. Mr. Armstrong was born February 4, 1931 in Winston-Salem, NC. He had served in the Air National Guard and retired from GE in Syracuse, NY after 45 years of service. Tom moved to Lake County 20+ years ago and was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the ELKS. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, photography and socializing with friends and family. Survivors include his son and his wife, Thomas and Laurie Armstrong of Clifton, VA; daughter, Vicki Armstrong of Liverpool, NY; sister Joan Decker; 2 granddaughters, Anika and Lisette and 2 great-grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Paul A. and Alyce M. (Connell) Armstrong and loving wife, Mary Lee Armstrong in 2009.
