Terry S. Snyder's Obituary
Terry Shultz Snyder, 76, of Wildwood, FL passed away Monday, December 19, 2022. He was born December 13, 1946, in Danville, PA to Harry and Hilda (nee Shultz) Snyder.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harry Snyder.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 yrs. Carol Ann (nee Nyhus) Snyder; daughters: Paula (Jeffrey) Roberts and Robin (Russell) Lis; grandchildren: Tonja Thomas and William Thomas; great-grandchild, Natalie.
Terry had a full life, both professionally and personally. He was a loving father and devoted husband. Terry served 20 years in the US Navy. Upon retiring from the Navy, Terry started working in the private sector doing side-scan sonar work. Terry loved working on the water, and his career took him to some amazing places in the world. He played an integral part in finding the Titanic that sunk in 1912. He went on to work with Deep-Water shipwreck explorers that found a shipwreck that was lost in 1865 and carrying coins worth $400,000 – a fortune at today’s values.
Terry loved to play golf. After retiring, Terry started golfing several times a week and made many great friends. He will be missed by many.
