Teresa Turchiarelli's Obituary
Teresa Turchiarelli, fondly known as Tessie, was born to Marie Grace and Vincent Caimano on July 15, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York. She was one of ten children and had a fraternal twin brother, Carmen.
She grew up in the Brethren Church and came to faith in Christ at age 13 under the ministry of Evangelist Percy Crawford.
After World War II, she married Ceasar in 1946 and celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary July 27, 2015. They had two children, Janet Claire (Merop) and Daniel Turchiarelli, Sr., five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren and another on the way.
Tessie was a lively, spirited person who was always on the go. She was the heart of her home and loved being hospitable, especially around her table serving delicious meals and engaging in fellowship with family and friends. She loved caring for her home and family and making things beautiful, especially at Christmas. She had a knack for decorating and fashion. And she loved to shop!
She was a wonderful wife (caring for Ceasar until his death 4 ½ months ago) and loving, believing in and encouraging her family. Many nieces and nephews counted them as their favorite aunt and uncle.
She died January 12, 2016 at 93 ½ years-old changing her address from earth to heaven.
Her life can be characterized by one word, blessed. Both she and Ceasar always said, “We have been blessed.” And now she is in the presence of the Giver of those blessings her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
