Leonhart, Susie Aileen's Obituary
Susie Aileen Leonhart, 69, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 24, 2025 at U. F. Health Leesburg Hospital in Leesburg, Florida. Susie was born on October 22, 1955 in Leesburg, Florida to her parents Joseph Rance Dobson and Myrtle Lula Dobson.
Susie was a lifelong resident of Webster, Florida and lived on the land she was raised on. She was a long-time member of Gant Lake Baptist Church in Webster, Florida. Susie was extremely dedicated to her church as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, taught Sunday school and played the piano for church services and special occasions. Susie retired from the Sumter County School system with over 32 years of service as a clerical staff member. She loved her family and was proud of her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years: Mark L. Leonhart of Webster, FL; her loving children: Matthew Leonhart and his wife Jill of Webster, FL and Heidi Riggs and her husband Jerry of Tifton, GA; five loving grandchildren: Luke Leonhart, Isaac Leonhart, Samuel Leonhart, Lylah Riggs and Asher Riggs; loving niece and nephew: Sandra Dobson and Michael Dobson.
Susie was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, J Ray Dobson, and an infant brother who died at birth.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 for 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Gant Lake Baptist Church, Webster, FL. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:00AM at Gant Lake Baptist Church, Webster, Florida with burial to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Webster, FL.
