Susan C. Strickland's Obituary
Susan C. Strickland, 69, Wildwood, Florida went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2016 at The Villages Regional Hospital in The Villages, Florida surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Strickland was born on February 21, 1947 in Ludlow, Kentucky to her parents Robert N. Frisby and Geneva (Wood) Frisby. She was a longtime resident of Wildwood and had retired from the Sumter County School System as a Cafeteria Aid. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wildwood, Florida. She loved to crochet, cross stitch, needlepoint and quilting hand crafted items. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years: Larry Strickland of Wildwood, FL; son’s: Allen (Patricia) Strickland of Corydon, IN, Patrick (Shelia) Strickland of Wildwood, FL and Dustin Strickland of Wildwood, FL; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a niece, Jamie and a nephew, Sean. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Robin Brown. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 7:00PM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home , Wildwood, Florida.
