Susan K Lawless' Obituary
Susan Kreiling Lawless, 60, of The Villages, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013. Mrs. Lawless was born November 13, 1952, in Rhinebeck, NY, and moved to The Villages in 2007 from Tomkins Cove, NY. She taught school for over thirty years, ending her career at Farley Middle School in Stony Point. Mrs. Lawless was an avid participant in dog agility trials and an enthusiastic golfer; tributes from friends have noted her unfailing good humor and generosity of spirit. A member of the North Lake Presbyterian Church, Mrs. Lawless was previously a long-time member of Stony Point Presbyterian Church in New York. Survivors include her parents, Mary and Robert Kreiling of Port St. Lucie; two stepsons, Gregg Lawless of Thiells, NY, and John Lawless of Haverstraw, NY; sisters, Jean Kreiling of Bridgewater, MA, and Nancy Kingston of Katonah, NY; and brother, William Kreiling of Fredericksburg, VA; along with four nephews, a niece, and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the Nature Coast, P.O. Box 10328, Brooksville, FL 34603. A memorial service will be held at noon on May 29, at North Lake Presbyterian Church, 975 Rolling Acres Road, Lady Lake, FL 32159.
