Steven R. Williams' Obituary
Steven Randell Williams "Randy", 69, of Wildwood, FL, passed away on April 19, 2026. Steven was born on June 6, 1956, in Ocala, FL, to his parents Edwin and Jane (Severance) Williams.
Randy was of the Baptist faith and a true Florida Native. After he graduated high school, he began serving his community as a police officer. He was a dedicated officer for Sumter County, Wildwood and Howey in the Hills for over 40 years until his retirement in 2015. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, hunting and fishing and even training K-9s for the police force.
Randy will be remembered fondly and missed dearly by many. He is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Mary Crystal Lovett Williams, a sister, Penny Anderson and her husband Jim, a niece Brandi and her husband Bruce, step grandchildren, John and Cheyanne, as well as a great niece and great nephew.
Randy is preceded in passing by his parents, Edwin and Jane Williams and a stepson, John William Reaves.
