Stephen L Hoffman's Obituary
Stephen L.”Unk” Hoffman, 75, of Wildwood, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Mr. Hoffman was born on July 26, 1936 in St. Petersburg, FL and moved to Wildwood in 1975. He was retired from Florida Power after 37 years of service as a substation builder. He served in the US Army and the US Marine Corp, during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW, Lake Panasoffkee, and he enjoyed boating and playing shuffleboard. He is survived by his loving wife of 5 years, Jane; children, Michael Love, Gwen Love, both of St. Petersburg, Scott of Alabama; stepchildren, Bill (Sharman) Long of Wildwood and Julie Wilbanks of The Villages and a grandson, Nicholas Love.Visitation for Mr. Hoffman will be held 6:00-8:00pm, Friday, June 15, 2012 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held 2:30pm, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
