Shirley Rose Pflieger's Obituary
Shirley Rose Pflieger, 101, of Wildwood, FL, passed away on December 26, 2025. Shirley was born on April 3, 1924, in Detroit, MI, to her loving parents; Louis and Frances (Raab) Pflieger.
Shirley spent most of her life in Michigan and only recently moved to Florida at the age of 95. Shirley was of the Catholic faith and regularly attended mass at St. Vincent de Paul in Oxford, FL.
While she was in Redford Township, MI, she was an active member of St. Valentine, The Zoar Society and she enjoyed traveling with the Redford Township Community.
Shirley was a dedicated and hardworking employee of Dietert Lab Company. She loved her career as an executive secretary and continued working until she was 83 years old.
Shirley enjoyed spending her time gardening and traveling, she has visited every state in the United States. She will be remembered fondly for her quick wit and independence. Shirley was a kind, thoughtful and easy going person with a great sense of humor, she will be missed dearly.
Shirley is survived by her Niece, Sharon Ferris, great niece, Seavon Chalmers (Martin) and great nephew Garret Stone (Gabe Luna), great great nieces; Kierna and Malise Chalmers and her beloved cat Sophie.
Shirley is preceded in passing by her parents; Louis and Frances Pflieger, and siblings; Rose, Louis and Kenneth.
